
Kate Lichtenstein is a multi-media & jewelry artist based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is one of the owners of Gallery 154 and an integral part of the family-team. Kate has been professionally hand-crafting whimsical, creative jewelry since 1997. Her works are heavily inspired by nature, celestial symbols, and retro styles of the 1960s & 1970s. She practices beadwork, and uses wire wrapping techniques in many of her creations, often using real gemstones & crystals. She works in many mediums including: jewelry making & design, textiles & sewing, drawing, painting, hand-crafted ornaments, fairy houses, miniatures, display-making, photography, & more for over 3 decades. Kate works in store at the Gallery offering knowledge in Gemology & Fine Jewelry and loves helping people shop for the perfect gift. She participated as an artist in ArtPrize 7 years in a row. She has been the featured artist in both Grand Rapids Magazine and Women’s Lifestyle Magazine. She has been featured on several local news programs including EightWest. Kate enjoyed participating as a vendor in Eastown Streetfair & Bizarre Bazaar for over a decade.
